How to Make a Moscow Mule Cocktail


Close your eyes and just imagine it: It’s the noontime on a hot day, there are transparent clouds in the sky, the sun is blinking on you and the wind is whispering. 

Perfect timing for the super-fresh trendy cocktail: Moscow Mule! Something makes you feel like oh-so-refreshed…

A glance at history:

Thanks to the popularity of vodka, Moscow Mule was invented (in 1939). It was known as a vodka buck including either ginger ale, ginger beer or citrus juice. Obviously, the name comes from the Russian vodka used in it. With the power of vodka and ginger beer, the cocktail became one of the most popular drinks in the 1950s.

It’s still been the most googled cocktail!

Moscow Mule

The main players in this cocktail are:

  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4-6 ounces ginger beer
  • Plenty of ice

Directions:

- Squeeze lime juice into a Moscow Mule mug.

- Add 2 or 3 ice cubes, then pour in the vodka and fill with cold ginger beer.

- Serve with a stirring rod and garnish with the mint leaves & a slice of lime.

Here you go! Your super-easy cocktail is ready!
